The Alpha Kappa Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta at Kansas State University is the closest chapter to the Greater Kansas City Alumnae Association of Alpha Xi Delta. To that end, we strive to stay connected with one another to learn about the different walks of life we experience as collegiate and alumnae members.

This summer, Alpha Kappa has many house updates with new showers, toilets and the sump pump in the basement being replaced. In addition to various technical updates, the chapter is able to replace all of the chapter house windows due to the generosity of an anonymous donor.
This Founders' Day, the chapter was happy to recognize Rachel Hoeme, one of their chapter advisors, with the Outstanding Alumnae Award for 2019.
Finally, Mom Jean, the chapter's house mother, is retiring this year. The chapter wishes her all the best as she begins a new walk of life in retirement! They look forward to welcoming Dana Clark from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln this fall to serve as their new house mother. Dana has served as a house mom for the past 10 years, most recently at an Alpha Delta Pi chapter.
