Are you eager to be active (running, walking, yoga, weight training, etc.), but do not know where to begin, or perhaps now that you have graduated you no longer have access to the gym? No matter what you are looking for, Aaptiv, an audio-based fitness app, may be just the right way to put your best foot forward towards Physical Wellness.
The Challenge:
Take advantage of an Aaptiv 30-day free trial and see what this awesome app has to offer. Download the app and explore all the varied ways it can help you stay on the move! Try a workout to see how this app can help you on your way to Physical Wellness.
Physical Wellness is a key aspect of overall wellness, but sometimes it is easier said than done. If you are looking for a little motivation to get started or if you are seeking new ways to get active, Aaptiv has a variety of offerings - all in your hand.
Aaptiv has different trainers for each of their different style workouts and multiple workout levels. Additionally, each workout tends to have an awesome playlist (imagine girl empowerment songs from pop icons to hip-hop playlists)! Aaptiv adds new workouts each week and you can do them just about anywhere - so are you ready to give it a try?
Yoga, Mindfulness, and stretching, oh my!: Maybe you need to take a moment to collect your thoughts or you are looking for a guided stretch. You can download a workout that takes 5 minutes or more than 30 minutes to get your day going. Try out the “Yoga for Beginners,” “Touch Your Toes in 20 Days,” or “No Time for Negativity.”
Confetti Every Day: Aaptiv is committed to motivating and encouraging you through any workout you try. In fact, at the conclusion of a workout it highlights your success with falling confetti. In addition to having the “Confetti Every Day” 30-day challenge, there are maternity programs, quick workouts for busy folks (we are talking under 15 minutes!), and a SELF 28-Day Challenge.prepping for your first class.
Walk, jog, run, and more: Recently, Aaptiv came out with two programs focused on “Walk to Run One Mile,” to help build stamina. If you are more advanced you may be interested in 5K Training, 10K Training, or Half-Full Marathon Training programs. The Aaptiv coaches also have training runs that are not affiliated to regimented programs. Review the workout descriptions to see options focused on endurance, sprints, HIIT (high-intensity interval training), and more.
Yes, there is more: If you do have access to a gym or equipment, check-out the stair climbing workouts, indoor cycling, rowing, elliptical, and treadmill. Or enjoy the Aaptiv Magazine with tips, tricks, and recommendations to inform your healthy lifestyle.
Why it works? With so many options, you get out of the app what you put into it - the question is which workout will you love the most? You are able to search for workouts based on trainers, length of workouts, and/or intensity. Download any of the workouts to your phone, so there is no need to have access to wi-fi or waste your data plan. You can even save the workouts into folders if you like a little organization.
