Many positions have the possibility of working with a co-chair to better share and support tasks and initiatives as a team. All of the roles are flexible and workable to fit into what the holder wants to make it! The info you download above is just a general outline of all that is possible, but specifics can vary from person to person to accommodate life and schedules. TFJ
If elected, Officers & Chairs should hold to the following...
1. Elected* alumnae must be dues-paying members of Alpha Xi Delta’s Greater KC Alumnae Association at or before their installation into their position(s). Learn more about our dues process here.
2. Elected alumnae must commit to attend a minimum of 5 scheduled events throughout the year plus a summer and winter planning meeting.
Suggested events to attend:
a. Autism Speaks Walk in Fall (September 21, 2019)
b. Spring Philanthropy Fundraiser (TBD 2020)
c. April Founders Day Celebration (TBD 2020)
3. Elected alumnae must be willing to serve for a maximum term limit of 1 year and be willing help transition a new officer once elections take place at the end off their term if needed. All positions have the option of sharing tasks with another Sister co-chair to accommodate life schedules.
In addition to the general commitments above, each officer will fulfill specific duties and responsibilities in their individual role in collaboration with other officers, chairs and association members. Download the different possible committee roles above!
* All applicants will be considered no matter what their dues payment status. However, all installed officers must be dues-paying members of the Greater KC Alumnae Association at the time of their installment to their prospective position.
Communications Commitments
1. Must be willing and able to have open communications with all officers via text, email and/or phone and respond in a timely manner.
2. Officers must commit to personally strive to uphold the spirit and heart of our Symphony and Sisterhood with each interaction, in person, online or otherwise to cultivate a community of kindness and encouragement.
